Week Sixty-Three!!! 2-12-18

Hello family. I am so sorry we didn't get to talk directly to each other today. We went on this hiking trip this morning with our RMs in the branch and it took a LOT longer to get to the place than we thought it would. BUT IT WAS SUPER COOL!!! There was lots of waterfalls, and I took lots of pictures, and then we cooked food once we got there which was super cool. But it was super cold the whole time so it wasn't too cool. After that, the zone in Bambang had an activity and we told them that we are basically part of that zone (as well as our own), so we get invited to everything they do hahah. Thats why I'm emailing so late. But anyways, We had a pretty good week. Both me and Sister Pace got sick for like 3 days last week, plus we had to go to Cauayan for a meeting... Which was actually really fun, because the Zone Leaders (still not the ones from our OWN zone but the zone in Bambang) bought us sweaters because we are ALWAYS cold on the buses when we are going to Cauayan together, and they always wear sweaters or sweater vests for meeting. So we always tell them that we like their sweaters, so they got us cardigans as well so that we could all be matching for the meetings hahahah. We are also all 4 getting matching shirts together as well filled with all these quotes that President Hiatt tell us, hahah. They are like our best buds here because we dont live with any sisters and all the sisters we are leaders for are now in both zones and are either a lot younger in the mission or they are like kinda weird so we aren't that close with them, haha. Me and Sister Pace are best buds though. We take lots of "ugly" pictures together all the time which is really great. We told President last week when we had interviews that we just want to stay here until the end of our missions and then Sister Pace can be my last companion because I just love her so much. Anyways, I will send you my pictures, but this computer is slow so most of them havent even downloaded yet, BUT I think there are some good ones in there. OH by the way, me and Sister Pace are like going hardcore getting souvenirs to bring back home, because she agrees with me that most of what we take home from our mission should be souvenirs for our family and whatnot. SO, I might need you to send me some money for that, heheh. There is this dude in Cauayan who can help get us some cool stuff, and Sister Pace has already bought stuff from him but I want to get some stuff as well. There are these super cool belts here that are made out of caribou horns which I want to get for Auston and Conner (about 1000 pesos each), plus there are cool things made out of natural pearls too, which I want to get. Also, things made out of the bamboo because they make those in our area as well as theres a really good person who does it in Cauayan and we have their number too so we have some stuff we want to order. I found some places to buy native clothes and such so I want to get that too, so you guys can wear stuff from the Philippines to church when I come home hahah. OH MY GOSH MOM!! I have something funny to tell you! So remember Sister Stucki's mom? WELL, she ended up sending EVERYONE in the mission a Valentine, because it's her daughter's birthday on Valentine's Day (so she just wanted EVERYONE to know that it was her daughter's birthday, hahaha). I love you family, and I miss you so much. I hope you have a great week!!!
